Professional Background
Peana’s interest in law began during his undergraduate studies at the University of British Columbia, where he focused on political and legal philosophy. He continued his education at the University of British Columbia, graduating with a Bachelor of Laws in 2008.
Prior to working at Singleton Urquhart, Mr. Peana worked as a Review Officer at WorkSafeBC, adjudicating hundreds of Requests for Reviews relating to entitlement and compensation matters.
Mr. Peana's legal practice focuses on construction and commercial disputes, workers compensation and employment matters.
He has represented both corporate and individual clients in mediation and settlement conferences, as well as in British Columbia Provincial Court, Supreme Court Chambers and as co-counsel in Supreme Court Trial Division.
