Professional Background
Born and raised in the United Kingdom, Mr. Thompson emigrated to Canada in 1978. He was called to the British Columbia Bar in1981 after becoming a Canadian citizen.
Mr. Thompson's early practice concentrated on real estate lending, realizations and insolvency. In recent years, it has featured business and real estate development, construction, leasing, environmental issues and other property related matters, as well as financing, corporate and commercial business matters, and estates and estate planning.
In his practice he seeks to enhance his clients' business and personal interests through the prompt and effective identification and implementation of business opportunities and problem resolution. Efficient and practical resolution of client concerns is a central feature of his approach to the practice of law.

Avocations
