  • 2008 BCSC 328
    Client sued chartered accountant alleging inadequate advice in respect of the valuation of a logging business in a divorce settlement. After a 61-day trial, the Court dismissed all claims against the accountant.
  • 2007 BCSC 1081
    Taxation of accounts issued by trustee of Biller estate in respect of bankruptcy arising out of Enron Mortgage Corporation’s affairs.
  • 2006 BCSC 89
    Company sued former director for breach of fiduciary duty and other claims. Defendants issued third party notices making claims against corporate directors, alleging breach of fiduciary duty against them as well. Directors’ application to strike the third party claim was dismissed.
  • 2002 SCC 61
    Supreme Court of Canada decision striking down provisions of the Criminal Code respecting search of law offices pursuant to warrant.
