Professional Background
Michelle Taylor obtained her undergraduate degree in Commerce from the University of British Columbia’s Sauder School of Business, in 2005. She continued her studies at the University of BritishColumbia, receiving her Juris Doctor degree in 2008.
While at law school, Ms. Taylor explored various aspects of dispute resolution by volunteering for the Law Students’ Legal Advice Program as well as CoRe: Conflict Resolution Society and attending mediation and advocacy classes while at UBC. Additionally, she spent her last semester as an intern with the British Columbia Provincial Court.
Ms. Taylor previously summered in 2007 and completed her articles in 2008/2009 at Singleton Urquhart.
Prior to joining Singleton Urquhart, Ms. Taylor spent her summers working for numerous insurance related companies, including an insurance company and a forensic insurance accounting firm, where she developed a keen interest in insurance matters which she brings with her to Singleton Urquhart, as well as an interest in other litigation work.
