Professional Background
Steve Vorbrodt’s practice focuses on commercial litigation and professional liability claims for clients in the financial services sector. However, he also has a general insurance defence practice which includes claims involving civil fraud.
Over the last several years, Mr. Vorbrodt has successfully defended actions at trial in both the British Columbia Supreme Court and the Provincial Court of British Columbia. In addition, Mr. Vorbrodt has represented both corporate and individual insureds at mediations, settlement conferences and in chambers. He has also made successful submissions to various administrative tribunals including the Workers’ Compensation Appeal Tribunal and the Human Rights Tribunal.
Mr. Vorbrodt is a member of the British Columbia Bar Association (Insurance Law subsection) and the Canadian Bar Association.
