Allison Godey graduated from Simon Fraser University in 2007 with a Bachelors of Arts in Criminology and Women’s Studies. She then earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Victoria, Faculty of Law in 2011.
Throughout her undergraduate degree Allison worked for a local credit union in the areas of equipment leasing and lending services. While completing her university degrees Allison volunteered with several organizations including the West Coast Women’s Legal Education and Action Fund, Pro-Bono Students Canada, and the Huntington's Society of Canada, B.C. Chapter.
While attending law school Allison was involved in the Sports and Entertainment Law Club as the club’s Vice President in 2009/10 and President in 2010/11. In her final year at law school Allison was elected as the Third Year Representative on the University of Victoria Law Students’ Society.
Allison joined Singleton Urquhart as a summer articled student in 2010 and began her articles with the firm in 2011.
