Professional Background
Ms. Piovesan has been working as a paralegal since 2003. In September 2008, she joined Singleton Urquhart focusing mainly on ICBC defence.
Prior to joining Singleton Urquhart, Ms. Piovesan developed an expertise in civil litigation in the areas of disability and plaintiff personal injury for a mid-sized Vancouver based firm. Ms. Piovesan also worked for the Law Society of BC in the Audits and Investigations department. Part of her time there was spent working on the largest conveyancing fraud investigation in BC.
In addition to working as a full time Paralegal, Ms. Piovesan is an instructor with the Burnaby School Board teaching in the Legal Administrative Assistant program, is an ice skating instructor with the Vancouver Parks Board and is the Vice- President of Marketing for the BC Paralegal Association.
