Professional Background
Tricia Milne graduated from Simon Fraser University, where she received the President’s Entrance Scholarship, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication.
Prior to attending law school at the University of Alberta, Ms. Milne worked in Vancouver in forestry consulting as an editor and project administrator. After graduating from law school in 2002, Ms. Milne articled with Alberta Justice in Calgary where she gained experience in all facets of criminal law, as well as family and civil law. Upon her call to the Alberta Bar in 2003, Ms. Milne worked as a Crown Prosecutor, prosecuting a wide range of criminal cases in both the Provincial Court and the Court of Queen’s Bench.
Ms. Milne was called to the British Columbia Bar in September 2006 and joined Singleton Urquhart as an associate, where she practices in the area of civil fraud litigation.
