Professional Background
Jordan Copeland obtained her undergraduate degree in Philosophy from the University of British Columbia after spending two years at Queens’ University and one term abroad at Leuven University in Belgium. She received her LL.B. from the University of British Columbia in 2006, before joining Singleton Urquhart for her articles.
While at law school, Ms. Copeland was actively involved in the Law Students’ Legal Advice Program, serving as the Director of Operations for a one year term. The Program allowed her to gain practical experience in client relations and oral advocacy.
Since joining Singleton Urquhart, Ms. Copeland has worked on a broad range of civil litigation files and has appeared in both Supreme and Provincial Courts. She has a general civil litigation practice, with a focus in the areas of commercial litigation, insurance defence, construction law and strata law.
