Helmut Johannsen, Bruce Reynolds and Sharon Vogel are currently attending the Annual Conference of the International Bar Association, as 6,000 legal professionals from 170 countries converge on Rome from October 7th through 12th.

Helmut is the Co-Chair of the International Construction Projects Committee (“ICP”) and, along with Jaime Gray of NPG Abogados, his fellow Co-Chair, he spent the last year planning and organizing the ICP program for Rome, including its five substantive sessions. Among other responsibilities, Helmut and Jamie will co-host the annual ICP dinner and excursion.

Bruce, a past Co-Chair of the ICP, and Sharon are both presenting as part of the ICP program, with Bruce co-chairing a session on termination and Sharon presenting in a session on performance security.

Other activities will include a series of firm-to-firm meetings between Singleton Reynolds and world-leading construction law practice groups. As well, Singleton Reynolds is co-hosting a dinner with Seattle firm, Oles Morrison, represented by Doug Oles, a preeminent US construction law expert and current President of the American College of Construction Lawyers.

Singleton Reynolds’ commitment to the International Bar Association represents a continuation of its international construction law engagement, including the American College of Construction Lawyers, the Society for Construction Law North America and the International Academy of Construction Law.
