With the World Health Organization declaring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak as a “pandemic”, we have heightened our response to help in reducing the potential community spread of the virus, and hopefully lessen the burden on the healthcare system.

Our focus is on the health and safety of our employees and their families and communities while ensuring we are continuing to meet service commitments to our clients. We have a responsibility to do everything we can to help those who are vulnerable and most at risk in our communities. This includes playing our part in social distancing and reducing community transmission. To this end, we are putting a temporary halt on non-essential business-related travel, and our seminars/events will be postponed.

We are suggesting that, for the time being, services be provided via telephone, video conference and via e-mail where possible as we continue to do our best to provide seamless service for the upcoming few weeks. We will be asking some of our lawyers and staff to work remotely. We have also created an internal response team who will work on a daily basis to monitor and respond to developments.

We hope this provides you with confidence in our strong commitment to our clients while keeping our employees and communities as safe as possible.
