Professional Background

Brendan Dawes is an Associate and a member of the Insurance, Workplace and Commercial Litigation Practice Groups at Singleton Urquhart Reynolds Vogel LLP. Brendan has a general civil litigation practice and also practices in the areas of construction, insurance defence, and employment.

Brendan has appeared before both the Provincial Court and Supreme Court of British Columbia, as well as before various administrative boards and tribunals, including the Employment Standards Branch and the Immigration Appeal Division. Brendan has diverse experience assisting clients with many areas of dispute resolution, including:

  • shareholders rights and remedies
  • insurance coverage
  • wrongful dismissal
  • product liability
  • large scale construction litigation

Employing a results-based approach to litigation, Brendan works strategically and pragmatically to achieve optimal outcomes for his clients in the context of their litigation goals.
