Professional Background

Ian Jones is an Associate and a member of the Insurance, Construction and Infrastructure Groups.  He has a general litigation practice focused on construction, insurance, civil fraud, professional liability and environmental law matters.

Ian’s experience including assisting clients with:

  • builders lien issues
  • construction deficiencies
  • fires
  • contract disputes
  • occupier’s liability claims
  • general insurance and coverage disputes
  • professional negligence claims

He has also acted as Independent Supervising Solicitor in the execution and administration of Anton Piller Orders.

Ian takes a keen interest in learning about his clients’ business, and has regularly acted for property developers, contractors, architects, structural engineers, mechanical engineers, civil and electrical engineers, among others.
