Professional Background

Dr. Jane Ingman Baker is a Partner practicing in the area of Civil Litigation with a focus on construction, environmental, municipal and insurance matters. She represents both insurers and contractors in a broad variety of matters. Jane also has extensive experience in complex litigation matters, including coverage disputes relating to asbestos and other environmental claims.

Prior to joining Singleton, Jane was a Clerk at the BC Supreme court and was an associate in a boutique litigation firm.

Active in the community of Dunbar in land use issues, community recreation and earthquake preparedness.

Jane has extensive experience in complex litigation matters. Many of her cases have involved technical and scientific issues. She has also assisted clients with matters relating to insurance coverage from both the perspective of the insurer and the insured.
