With respect to disputes, Jeff has acted for public and private owners, general contractors, and contractors on delay claims, performance defaults, lien actions, insolvencies, and procurement disputes. The resolution of these disputes has included negotiations, mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings.
Jeff assists clients with the preparation of contract documents, including bespoke contracts for significant construction projects, customization of standard form documents, and procurement documents. Jeff has also advised lenders on the legal risks related to financing proposed construction and infrastructure projects.
The projects that Jeff has been involved with include: nuclear facilities, hospitals, waste water treatment plants, transportation infrastructure, wind and solar developments, commercial construction, electricity transmission and distribution, and natural gas distribution.
Prior to becoming a lawyer, Jeff worked for ten years with an international engineering firm and served as the general manager for two telecommunications companies.
