Professional Background

John Fraser is an Associate Counsel and a member of the Commercial Real Property Law Group.

John assists public and private clients in a variety of commercial property law matters such as acquiring, developing, leasing and selling:

  • shopping centres
  • residential and office complexes
  • hotel/recreational properties
  • multi-use urban projects

He has extensive experience in negotiating agreements relating to:

  • financing and project management
  • land use
  • zoning and subdivision of real estate

John is also experienced in investment structures including corporations, partnerships, limited partnerships and joint ventures.

John helps clients to develop and implement their development plans, and is an advisor to the British Columbia Housing Management Commission which is involved in a broad spectrum of real estate projects throughout British Columbia.
