Professional Background

Max Reedijk is an Associate in the Construction and Infrastructure Group at Singleton Urquhart Reynolds Vogel LLP.

He has a broad range of experience in commercial litigation, construction law and land use planning/development. He has advised owners, general contractors and sub-trades with respect to: complex contractual disputes, multi-residential and mixed use developments, public procurement issues, surety bond claims, deficiency disputes, payment disputes, breach of trust claims and expropriation claims.

Max has appeared as counsel and successfully argued matters before the Superior Court of Justice and the Divisional Court. Max has also appeared as co-counsel before the Commercial List, the Ontario Court of Appeal and the Federal Court of Appeal, and has drafted written materials for the Supreme Court of Canada.

Prior to joining the firm, Max practiced in the areas of commercial litigation and land use planning/development at a leading law firm in Toronto.
