Professional Background

Parveen Sehra is the Director of Professional Resources at Singleton Urquhart Reynolds LLP. Parveen recruits and onboards students and associates and leads ongoing professional development by coordinating the Singleton Reynolds Institute. Additionally, she is responsible for performance management/feedback, assists with compensation management, professional development (internal and external), oversees the mentorship program, manages departures, conducts exit interviews and regular check-ins with associates.

She is skilled at helping professionals develop, and has a broad range of experience within the legal industry. Before joining the firm, Parveen practiced at several prominent law firms in Toronto and worked as an advisor at a top Canadian university.

Parveen is a public speaker and a regular panel speaker for lawyers on topics such as interviewing, networking, recruiting, marketing, and professional development. Outside of work, Parveen is actively involved with the Canadian Bar Association (CBA), volunteers as an employment mentor for newcomers to Canada, and is an Area Coordinator for Samaritan’s Purse Canada.
