Vancouver is playing host to the 2016 International Academy of Mediators (IAM) Fall Conference this September 22 – 24. IAM’s mission is to define standards and qualifications for the professional mediator of commercial disputes, and to promote the mediation process as the preferred means of resolving disputes. As a leader in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), Singleton Reynolds is proud to have played a key role in bringing this event to Vancouver and is an event sponsor. Singleton Reynolds lawyer and one of British Columbia’s leading mediators, Barb Cornish, is the Conference Chair.
The theme of the conference is ‘Perspective Is Everything”, with a focus on the high value results that mediation provides clients. For more information on the agenda click here.
Singleton Reynolds has a strong association with the IAM with two members of our firm being recognized as Distinguished Fellows – Barb Cornish and Jeff Hand (the only two lawyers in Western Canada to be recognized with this accolade).
Singleton Reynolds is a recognized leader in the field of ADR and backs this up with a dedicated ADR team who mediate on a daily basis. Details on our team can be found here.
