Singleton Reynolds is proud to announce the elevation of three new partners in our Toronto office: Jesse Gardner, James Little and Peter Wardle.

Peter Wardle (previously Counsel) has built his reputation as an industry recognized and trusted advocate over the course of many trials, applications and appeals involving issues related to shareholder and partnership disputes, arbitrations, securities, directors’ and officers’ liability, professional negligence, construction, engineering, employment, estates, environmental law and real estate development, as well as a wide variety of contractual disputes. He is frequently consulted by board members and shareholders in regard to both public and private company disputes. He also regularly represents some of Canada’s largest law firms. He has acted as counsel and arbitrator in a number of arbitrations involving commercial issues. He is a former bencher of the Law Society of Ontario and continues to act as an adjudicator on the Law Society Tribunal.

James Little advises on domestic and international construction disputes, including court proceedings, negotiation, arbitration and other dispute resolution alternatives and for a wide variety of construction industry clients. In particular, James offers clients timely advice in relation to construction lien matters whether they are commencing a lien action or defending one. James also advises clients on corporate matters including procurement, contract administration and dispute avoidance techniques.

Jesse Gardner advises a wide range of construction industry clients, including owners, general contractors, engineers and sureties in relation to major construction and infrastructure projects on issues such as delay and deficiency claims, fee disputes, and insurance matters. His practice focuses on effective dispute resolution, advisory work and strong written and oral advocacy. He has managed complex disputes on large-scale infrastructure projects including light rail train systems, waste-water treatment and power plants, wind farms, highway construction, and mining projects.
