Ramez Gries received his Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2023. Ramez previously spent a summer at Singleton Urquhart Reynolds Vogel LLP as a second-year summer student. Prior to Law School, Ramez completed his Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) at the Schulich School of Business, York University.
During law school, Ramez participated in a volunteer placement at a pro-bono legal clinic which worked with refugees to draft permanent residency applications and file appeals. Further, Ramez was a caseworker at the Osgoode Business Clinic, where he assisted small business owners with several legal issues, including incorporation procedures, company liability policies, asset transfers as well as legal drafting. Ramez was also part of the Osgoode Bankruptcy & Insolvency Club, a co-founder and treasurer of the Middle Eastern Law Students’ Association, and also served as a Dean’s Fellow for Professor John McCamus throughout his time at Osgoode.
Ramez is fluent in Arabic.
